Basic Wilderness First Aid is an 8 hour online course that introduces students to initial concepts of first aid in remote environments. This course is an excellent starting point for athletes, families, scouts, or others that are interested in this skill set. Students will work through the online content at your own pace. At the conclusion of the course, students will be required to complete an online exam to receive credit for completing the course and to receive their certification. Students will have 30 days to complete the online training. After completing the course, students are encouraged to attend the in-person Wilderness First Aid course to gain practical hands-on experience completing patient assessments and treating injuries in a remote or wilderness environment.
